coco + luke: quay wedding - part 1

The process of selecting photos for the blog is always soooo hard! I got to about 30 images and realised that this was going to be a huge post so I’ve decided to split it in two. Today’s post is everything from Coco and Luke’s special day except for the location shoot which will land on this little blog here tomorrow.

Coco and Luke tied the knot at Campbells Cove and following their wedding ceremony was a lunch reception at Quay Restaurant. The feel of the day was very much relaxed mixed with emotions thrown in just the right moments. The styling was chic and modern and that’s exactly how I would describe Coco and Luke. Looking through the images, everything just feels so “them” which I think is a really good thing!

Along the same line of chic and very “them”, I love the quirkiness of the bride’s hot pink shoes and the groom’s grey jacket with black lapel.

Ceremony location was in that little circular area jutting out into the water. If view of the two Sydney icons is your thing, this spot is pretty good for that.

I cannot tell you how much I love seeing rose petals thrown at the bride and groom as they walk down the aisle together. I just wish every couple do this at their wedding =)

Elegant and chic (throw a thesaurus at me already) decorations…just gorgeous.

Chic food i.e. small food in huge plates hehehe…kidding kidding! Please forgive my stupid sense of humour =) In all seriousness, the food was creative and really really AMAZING. It was like eating art…mmm…art…yummm.

Reflection in the ceiling mirrors.

If you were inside my head every time I see a bride or groom tear up, all you would hear is “do it…let it out…do it!!!” I just love seeing people smile, laugh and cry. Coco and Luke didn’t disappoint me in the crying department at all. As a matter of fact, this lovely bride was so full of emotion and happy tears….many times. Needless to say, I got extremely snap happy =)

Okiedokie, check back tomorrow for part 2 of the wedding – the location shoot.
