Elopements have a really special place in my heart. Traditionally defined as when two people run away to marry each other in secrecy, these days, it’s very much a planned event and often include a very small number of important guests. I love that elopements are so chilled, couples are always utterly relaxed, and the focus is on what matters the most – love and connection. Helena & Clinton married each other at Milk Beach in Vaucluse, in front of their mums, brother and best friend. They had a little “first look” before their mini ceremony, followed by beautiful golden hour portraits. They were simply over the moon, their joy was infectious and I absolutely loved being a part of their wedding day. Documenting happy moments for such wonderful, kind and loving people, with the sand under my feet and a beautiful sunset to boot, well, that made me as happy as a clam.
